The Holy Spirit, being the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, is coeternal and coequal with the Father and the Son in divinity, majesty, and dignity. He has been sent to us from the Father through the Son to bring to completion what the Son began in the Incarnation and Crucifixion. This rosary pays homage to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity- the Holy Spirit. The rosary uses red and orange faceted czech glass and ruby faceted czech glass as accents in the decade and for the Our Father beads to call to mind the tongues of fire that fell upon the Virgin Mary and the Apostles at Pentecost. The centerpiece incorporates the Miraculous Medal, which depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, showering graces upon the earth- graces that come through her from the Holy Spirit. The medal is of the Holy Spirit as well- which is modeled off of the stained glass window of the Holy Spirit in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. The backside of the medal depicts the Eucharist, reminding us that it is by the action of the Holy Spirit, who is called down by the priest before the words of institution, that the bread and wine are transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ. Finishing the rosary is the Trinity Crucifix, depicting the life of the Holy Spirit in the Trinity.
